ELECTRONIC ACCESS NOTICE:

November 6, 2020: The electronic card reader access installation on the Recreation Center entrance is now complete. The building is accessible using your access cards from 6am – 10pm daily. Several updates have been made to make the unstaffed facility safer for your use. The doors are being updated to the latest emergency exit and fire code standards, and there is a phone in the business center area for making emergency calls. The video surveillance system that was/is in place is being upgraded with more coverage of the building. Keep in mind that this is a recorded system that is not actively monitored, but is used to review questions regarding facility use.

If you have returned your waiver and requested your cards to be mailed, you should be receiving them any day now (if not already). If you'd like to pick your cards up in person, they are available at BVM's offices from 9 am to 5 pm on Monday through Friday.  We will require a signed waiver in order to pickup cards. If you need to print one out, they are available here (see link below)

A reminder of the highlights:

• Facility hours will 6am - 10pm, 7 days a week. Hours will be posted on the Recreation Center door, and the association web site under the 'HOURS' tab, check there for any future changes.

• You are issued 2 access cards for use by you and your guests. If you rent your unit, please leave a couple cards in your unit for your renters, and keep a couple tucked away for when they inevitably walk off with one.

• If you lose or misplace your cards, you or your guest will be able to obtain replacement cards from the HCHCIRA management company (BVM located in Winter Park Station on the North end of Winter Park).

• Note that now that there is not a front desk person at the facility, towel and locker rentals will no longer be available. Please bring your own towel and lock to use.

• There is an HCHCIRA Facility Access Policy that outlines access to the Recreation Center facility. It is available below.

After Nov. 3rd, the Recreation Center and Pool facility will no longer have a front desk staff with open hours. There will be a daily security check at closing time, as well as our normal housekeeping and maintenance services to maintain the pool and facilities.
